Dan “Dano” Lancelot is a Southern California-based steelpan artist, drummer, and producer whose rhythmic sensibilities have been shaped by decades of performance, studio work, and deep musical curiosity. As the leader of Dano’s Island Sounds, he blends the vibrant tones of the tenor steel pan, live percussion, and custom rhythm tracks to create a captivating, Caribbean-inspired soundscape for events, festivals, weddings, and private parties.

A former drummer with nationally known acts Slightly Stoopid, and Gloritone, and a key part of Tempe’s explosive ’90s alternative rock scene with bands like Dish/Verona and Solemines, Dano brings seasoned professionalism and dynamic performance energy to every stage.
