Dan Lancelot

Dan "Dano" Lancelot is an American musician, multi-instrumentalist and composer best known as a founding member of RCA recording artist Gloritone and drummer for Skunk recording artist Slightly Stoopid. Lancelot was the drummer for Gloritone from 1996 to 1998 and touring drummer for Slightly Stoopid during the 2001 Vans Warped Tour. Currently Lancelot performs in his band Dano's Island Sounds, highlighting the steel drum and continues to write instrumental music for the Oprah Winfrey Network including prime time TV show DR OZ.

Dano's style fuses the mood and rhythm of the Caribbean with the energy of rock n' roll. Versatile and imaginative Dano produces musical atmospheres to delight and electrify by combining hooky melodies with driving rhythm. As musician and composer he brings together years of performance experience and collaborative writing skills with knowledge, instinct and passion.
